Romualdo Salernitano

Romualdo Guarna, also known as Romualdo Salernitano, was born in Palermo between 1110 and 1120. He was Archbishop of Salerno from 1153 to 1181, the year of his death, and is best known for having written a universal history, called Chronicon sive Annales, which recounted the events of the world from creation until 1178.
